MEMORY SCREEN - LICENSE AGREEMENT

goodbye productions - for MEMORY SCREEN 1.0

This license agreement (the "Agreement") is between you and Goodbye
Productions LLC ("goodbye productions"), the maker of MEMORY SCREEN. It
covers MEMORY SCREEN and everything that comes with it: the software, its
sounds, memories (presets), MIDI tracks, field recordings, video clips,
photographs and documentation. By installing or using MEMORY SCREEN, you
agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. YOUR LICENSE

When you buy MEMORY SCREEN, goodbye productions grants you a personal,
non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it under this
Agreement. MEMORY SCREEN is licensed to you, not sold.

- You may install and use MEMORY SCREEN on up to three computers that you
  own or control, for your own use.
- Your license key is personal to you. Do not share or publish it, or let
  anyone else use it.
- You may not sell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise transfer your
  license to anyone else.

2. PURCHASES ARE FINAL

MEMORY SCREEN is delivered digitally and cannot be returned, so all sales
are final and purchases are not refundable, except where the law of the
place where you live requires otherwise.

3. WHAT YOU MAKE IS YOURS

The music and sound you make with MEMORY SCREEN belong to you. You may use,
release, perform and sell them, royalty-free, with no credit required. This
includes:

- recordings of MEMORY SCREEN's sounds, effects and field recordings as part
  of your own music;
- the built-in MIDI tracks, played through MEMORY SCREEN or any other
  instrument, as part of your own music;
- videos of you playing MEMORY SCREEN with its screen showing.

4. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

You may not:

- share, sell or redistribute MEMORY SCREEN, or any of its sounds, memories
  (presets), MIDI tracks, field recordings, video clips or photographs on
  their own, for example as a sample pack, a preset bank, a MIDI pack, a
  footage or photo collection, or inside another instrument or product;
- use any of MEMORY SCREEN's content to train artificial intelligence or
  machine-learning systems;
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble MEMORY SCREEN,
  except to the extent the law expressly allows it;
- bypass or disable the license check, or create or share license keys;
- remove or change any copyright notice in MEMORY SCREEN.

5. OWNERSHIP

MEMORY SCREEN, including its software, sounds, field recordings, MIDI
tracks, footage, photographs, artwork and name, is owned by goodbye
productions and protected by copyright and other laws. This Agreement gives
you a license to use MEMORY SCREEN; it does not transfer ownership of any
part of it to you. A few small open-source components inside MEMORY SCREEN
come with their own licenses, listed in the NOTICES file that comes with it.
Nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under those licenses.

6. UPDATES

goodbye productions may release updates to MEMORY SCREEN. This Agreement
covers them unless an update comes with its own terms.

7. NO WARRANTY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEMORY SCREEN is provided "as is",
without warranty of any kind, express or implied. goodbye productions does
not promise that MEMORY SCREEN is free of errors, or that it works on every
computer or in every music program. Some places do not allow these
exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, goodbye productions is not liable
for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including
lost data, lost work or lost profits) arising from your use of MEMORY
SCREEN, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for
your license.

9. TERMINATION

Your license ends automatically if you break this Agreement. When it ends,
you must stop using MEMORY SCREEN and delete it from your computers. Music
you made before then remains yours.

10. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA,
without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live outside the United
States, this does not take away any consumer protection rights you have
under the laws of the country where you live.
